Education at standstill in Kashmir with slow internet and pandemic adding to the woes

In this episode, Kashmiri independent journalist Irfan Amin Malik speaks to students in Kashmir about the problems they face due to 16 months long lockdown which started in August 2019 after BJP led central government revoked Article 370 & bifurcated the erstwhile state into two union territories.  

The host spoke to students from different schools who narrated how education was the worst-hit sector in Kashmir during 16 months lockdown, and why online education also proved a joke on 2G network.

The students mentioned major concerns they face during the world’s longest lockdown & communication blackout. Irfan also chatted with Mr Javed, a parent and Peer Kifayat, a school principal & senior teacher who mentioned the problems parents, teachers & school management went through during the persistent lockdown.
