In this episode of The Suno India Show, we bring to you an interesting conversation between our guest host Patralekha Chatterjee, senior journalist and Dipa Sinha, an economist and Assistant Professor at the School of Liberal Studies, Ambedkar University on Bharatiya Janata Party’s much publicised scheme ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ also touted as ‘Modicare’. The scheme aims at making interventions in primary, secondary and tertiary care systems, covering both preventive and promotive health, to address healthcare holistically. Patralekha talks to Dipa about this and asks her if public health is on the political high table.
